If you’re already one of our Member Wholesalers or Affiliate Manufacturers, Solution or Service Providers, this page provides a recap on your benefits package, and also provides further guidance on next steps if you are thinking about applying to join us.

The Association has over 250 UK wholesale distributors of all sizes who are Members of the EDA and these represent more than 75% of the UK market. In addition, there are over 130 leading suppliers of products, services and solutions who are Affiliated Members of the EDA.

Affiliation Scheme

Affiliated Membership category was created in 2000 to further support the electrotechnical supply chain and is open to manufacturers, solutions providers, and service providers who have an established trading relationship through the UK’s electrotechnical wholesale sector.

You should also belong to the primary trade association for your sector.

Business Community

1. Free attendance at the EDA Regional Business Forums. Typically there are four Forums each year. These offer networking and topical presentations to add value to your business. Forums visit different UK locations to give everyone the opportunity to join us.
2. Attendance at the EDA Annual Awards Dinner (March)*
