EDA’s modules once again recognised as best-in-class workplace training in the 2025 Princess Royal Training Awards

Honoured to have been recognised once again by The Princess Royal Training Awards for the 12 Product Knowledge Training Modules. The awards are held for three years and the EDA first held the Award in 2022, winning again in August 2025 for another three years. Coinciding with HRH The Princess Royal’s 75th birthday, the 10th year of the Awards saw 143 applications, with 57 (including the EDA) achieving the prestigious award.

Toolbank announced as latest EDATA data pool sponsor

EDA Summer Event 2025: a double celebration of Engagement Awards and 25 Years of the Affiliation Scheme

300,000 products and climbing: EDATA data pool sails past quarter of a million products

The EDATA data pool has achieved a significant milestone and now offers all wholesaler members of the Electrical Distributors’ Association (EDA) free access to enriched product information and images on over 300,000 products. Since the EDA launched the data pool for the electrotechnical sector in 2020 it has grown rapidly as manufacturers see the commercial advantage in giving their wholesaler customers access to high-quality product information and imagery in a central time-saving hub.

100th Manufacturer joins EDATA data pool

Hispec Electrical Products Ltd has become the 100th manufacturer to sign up to the EDATA data pool to share their product information with wholesalers. Since its launch in 2020, the data pool has grown rapidly, attracting many of the leading brands in the UK’s electrotechnical sector. Now with over 297,000 products listed inside, manufacturers are seeing the commercial advantage in giving their wholesaler customers access high-quality product information and imagery in a central time-saving hub.

Hello Glasgow! Scotland welcomes the EDA for the first Business Forum of 2025

85 delegates joined the EDA team in Glasgow for the first Business Forum of 2025. This Forum focussed on the Green Technologies opportunities for EDA Wholesalers with expert speakers covering a range of topics including Electric Vehicles, Battery Storage, Heat Pumps, and Ventilation.
