Recruiting an apprentice: how much does it cost?

On this page you’ll find a guide to costs for a selection of apprenticeships, taking into account the government’s New Year 2021 Cash Payment.
To benefit from the government’s New Year 2021 Cash Payment your apprentice will need to be in place by 31 March 2021 and remain in post for at least 1 year – the duration of their apprenticeship.
At the EDA we support apprentices earning at least the National Minimum Wage, but this is a guide and you can pay more if you wish.
