From CE to UKCA

  1. August 2023: Government announces that it intends to scrap the end of 2024 deadline for mandatory UKCA marking. Instead the CE mark will be recognised indefinitely. This is only an indication, and does not currently include Construction Products Regulations or Ecodesign.
  2. 16 November 2021: letter from the Construction Leadership Council (CLC) re UKCA to Secretaries of State The Rt Hon Michael Gove MP and The Rt Hon Kwasi Kwarteng MP
  3. Wednesday 24 August 2021, the government announced that the date for introduction of the UKCA marking had been moved to 1 January 2023.
