The Association has over 250 UK wholesale distributors of all sizes who are Members of the EDA and these represent more than 75% of the UK market. In addition, there are over 110 leading suppliers of products, services and solutions who are Affiliated Members of the EDA.

There are two routes into the EDA:

  1. Membership: for electrotechnical wholesale distributors.
  2. Affiliated Membership of which there are three categories:
    • Manufacturers
    • Solution Providers – providing software solutions and related services
    • Service Providers

Affiliated Membership category was created during the 90s to further support the electrotechnical supply chain and is open to manufacturers, solutions providers, and service providers who have an established trading relationship through the UK’s electrotechnical wholesale sector.

You should also belong to the primary trade association for your sector.
