Follow up to the Regional Business Forum, LuxLive 2016

On Wednesday 23 November 2016, representatives from key wholesalers, manufacturers and industry bodies in the electrical installation supply chain, attended the last Regional Business Forum of 2016 at the LuxLive exhibition at London’s ExCeL.

Opportunities in BIM for Wholesalers

Presented by: Logan Colbeck, Sales Strategy Leader, Honeywell 

Described as the ‘Go-to Guy for BIM in our industry’, Logan Colbeck, explains what BIM is all about and why it is important in our supply chain.

In a recent EDA survey, 40% of wholesalers said they were unaware of BIM (Building Information Modelling) while 29% said they were aware of BIM and wanted to know more about it and how it might benefit their business.

Connected Lighting: Unlocking the value of the Internet of Things (IoT)

Light sources are omnipresent indoors and out.

What if we empowered these light sources by giving them the ability to sense what is going on around them and then connecting them to each other?
