Fantastic feedback from attendees at the recent EDA Annual Summer Manufacturers’ Event (Thursday 29 July 2021) which attracted over 150 representatives from EDA wholesaler and manufacturer businesses.

This year we had a new venue too: Trinity Buoy Wharf (where the BBC’s Great British Sewing Bee is filmed) was chosen for its large outdoor Thames-side space  overlooking the O2 Arena, with an equally spacious and airy indoor area for drinks, lunch and the much anticipated EDA Engagement Awards!

Each time your business takes part in or “engages” with an EDA benefit you get an engagement point. The EDA tracks your engagement each year and at our Summer Event we reveal the most engaged Affiliate Manufacturers and Member Wholesalers.

From 1 April 2020 – 31 March 2021 there were plenty of opportunities to engage with your trade association. Engagement Points are awarded across a range of topics including:

• Training and Apprenticeships, including the EDA Product Knowledge Modules and our range of training courses
• Digitalisation, including EDATA and ETIM
• Attending the bi-monthly Talking Shop Zoom Dialogues (have you registered for Tuesday 28 September or Wed 29 September 2021?)
