While its chief focus has been to highlight sub-standard, faulty and unsafe cable, the Approved Cables Initiative (ACI) is widening its remit in 2014 to press for legislative policy change. Here Peter Smeeth explains more and revisits its work to date.
The ACI is an industry-wide campaign set up to educate and inform the cable supply industry and others of problems encountered with sub-standard, defective and unsafe data, telecom and electric cable.
