40 years of AWEBB

The EDA would like to offer its congratulations to the AWEBB buying group, as it marks its 40th anniversary this year.
AWEBB was founded by five electrical wholesalers in London back in 1976, and now boasts a £300 billion turnover from its 72 members.
Coincidently, their Ruby Anniversary happens to fall in the same year that the AWEBB membership grew by 51 wholesaler companies, bringing all the wholesaling companies from the Buying Group into the EDA, and thus becoming the largest buying group in the Association.
The celebrations will take place in September, at The AWEBB 2016 Ruby Anniversary Conference held at the magnificent Gleneagles Hotel in Scotlant.
