Members and affiliates are welcome to attend EDA’s free Business Forums which offer a programme of four or five topical presentations of interest to our industry, as well as a chance to network with industry colleagues.
There are usually two Business Forums each year and they take place in a different area of the country each time. As the presentations only take place during the morning, attendance at a Business Forum will be valuable, but not time consuming.
Topics covered at previous Business Forums include:
- A practical approach to Customer Research
- Recycling - opportunities and threats, climate change levy opportunities and lamp recycling
- The European electrical wholesale market
- The WEEE Directive and the Landfill Directive
- Industry innovations including a wholesaler’s integrated supply system, LED modules for lighting and signage and IP networks in a manufacturing environment
